- Measure the burden of mental and substance use disorders particularly anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, suicide, and drug, alcohol and tobacco abuse in Nigeria
- Implement equitable and sustainable evidence-based potential interventions towards reducing mortalities, and disabilities from mental and substance use disorders in Nigeria
- Improve organizational safety, health and productivity, and retaining a high-performing workforce
- Measure impact of public health programs and projects of Melville Healthcare Center and Melville Aid Foundation through a strengthened monitoring and evaluation system
- Translating data into meaningful public health actions at local, state, national, and regional level.

- Descriptive, analytical, interventional, policy-oriented researches to address disparity, inequity, inequality, and burden on a particular measure of health among underserved communities and vulnerable groups including internally-displaced persons (IDPs), physically challenged, children, pregnant women, elderly, law enforcement officers, prisoners etc. in urban and rural Nigeria
